Air Nova operated BAe 146-200s on behalf of Air Canada Connector, after Air Canada acquired a 100 percent share in 1990. In 2001 it was merged with Air BC to form Air Canada Regional. In March 2002, they were merged with Air Canada's other regional airlines to form Air Canada Jazz. To give an idea of how big this can get: it is to operate 800 daily flights to 80 destinations !
In 1999 Air Nova operated 5 Beech 1900D Airliners, 23 DeHavilland DHC-8-102 Dash 8s and 5 British Aerospace 146s
