Flying Martinair to New York - Newark in june 1991; a quick visit for a mere few days.
We stayed at the Park Central Hotel, 870 Seventh Avenue.
Our visit lasted only a few days and we did little more than walking the streets and doing some shopping.
Yellow cabs, police on horseback, and those big, loud advertisements: Manhattan, New York City.
Central Park, on a quiet and sunny day. Restful, a nice escape from the buslting city that is the Big Apple.
A photoshoot in progress.
We bought some sandwiches, at a deli, and ate them in the park.
Shopping included some photo lenses and accessories; no better place than at B&H Photo.
Later B+H moved to a larger store on 9th Avenue. I returned a number of times.
At the time I was into some B&W photography too. This one taken at Central Park.
Thus ended a two day stay at New York.
