In Jackson,WY (also referred to as Jackson Hole) we checked in at the lovely Parkway Inn. After a sandwich and
an excellent coffee (for we had been forced to skip lunch) we strolled the streets. Skislopes visible in the background.

If I remember correctly we had some delightful Italian sandwiches here and the best coffee we'd had in a long while.

Jackson is a nice place for a day or two, with some excellent Western Art.

 

The Jackson Town Square has such a gate on all four corners!

Mark Twain is seen here, two other large figures in bronze were featured here too.

There is quite a bit of art in the public domain here in Jackson (http://jhpublicart.org/exhibitions/) and
I seem to have missed most! I liked the graffiti here, by local artist Amy Ringholz.

It is not all art & glamour here at Jackson,WY - as one can see.

 

Recommended for coffee & sandwiches: the Cowboy Store, if I remember correctly (see on the wall in the background).

Jackson Hole by night. We had dinner at The Wort and have good memories of Mighty Bison Brown Ale

This is the very pleasant Parkway Inn. The next day we left Jackson Hole with a much more positive impression than in 1986!
